This concert brings together a large number
of talented professional artists for a single, fully produced concert
of contemporary dance.
KDance is proud to produce the 13th "Yes,Virginia
- Dance" festival September 17, 2011
in Richmond, Virginia. This yearly event brings together professional
dancers and choreographers in the region for a shared concert in contemporary
dance.
- The concert is produced in a beautiful theatre with
the support of a professional staff.
- Company honorariums are available and discount lodging
is provided.
- Films, classes and post-performance discussion are
additional components of this festival.
- Companies interested in participating in "Yes,Virginia
- Dance" 2011 should submit a video and a written description of
the dance to be considered.
- Completed works should be no longer than 14 minutes
in length.
- Applications should include a performance calendar
of the company and the artistic director's resume.
